At Jefferson County Public Health, we know that one of the best prevention tactics is community education & outreach. After all, if you don’t know about a potential threat to your health, how will you know to avoid it? We offer a variety of educational experiences to help you learn about your health & how to protect it, including:

• Free presentations on a variety of health-related topics.

• Monthly presentations at the Community Center on various health issues & subjects.

• Handwashing demonstrations for preschools & health fairs.

• Ask A Nurse Program

  • An opportunity for residents of Jefferson County to ask health-related questions, with answers provided by our Registered Nurses (RNs).
